Rocking Chair!

My mom got this glider for $5 from a friend that was moving.

Not much to look at, but it was functional and we didn't have to spend any money.

I decided that it would be fairly a simple matter to sew a cover for the cushions and give it a bright coat of paint. 

I went with a friend and she helped me pick fabric and paint. Then we both knocked out the sewing this past week(my grandma helped too by serging the ends and helping it fit a little tighter). 

Ryan and I spray painted the chair out on our back balcony.

We finished touching it up today.

Then we put the cushions on and marveled at our finished project!

Love it so much! Now I can rock Rylee in some serious style!

We've also had lots of weekend fun at Sea World yesterday and walking around the historic district in Gruene, TX.
