It's the most wonderful time of the year! Rylee is loving all the Christmas decorations and asks nearly daily if Christmas is tomorrow. The other night at dinner she randomly whispered into my ear "Santa coming tomorrow!"
We bought a real tree this year! I'm not sure why we haven't in the past, I love our's! Ryan always grew up with real Christmas trees, and has been dying to carry on the tradition. Originally I wanted to go to a tree farm and cut down our own, but I decided we would never have enough time, so we ended up down the road at Lowe's.

Baby boy hung out in his carseat in what was supposed to
be our quick trip into Lowe's. |
| Ryan is apparently a christmas tree expert! Glad he knew what to look for! |
| Rylee loved looking at all the trees. |
| She was very proud of our tree! |
| Getting the tree on our car to go home! |
| The finished product! |
This has been our pathetic tree for the last 7 years.
I bought it for $10 during post Christmas sales at Target
the first year we were married. Now it's Rylee's tree! |

| Rylee helped me find pine cones outside to put in our mason jars. |
Thursday night we went to the Holly Jolly Jingle in the Woodlands with some friends.
| These girls are best friends! |
They played the Grinch movie in between the different school orchestra performances. Both of them were mesmerized by it. Rylee's friend called the Grinch "a monster" and Rylee kept saying "I don't have this movie, we need to get it." When the movie turned off and the music started, both of them were off down the aisle, jumping and giggling and screeching. Yep, I'm one of "those" parents. But look at them, aren't they adorable?
This weekend we headed to Austin for
Georgetown's 35th Annual Christmas Stroll with my in-laws. It was so much fun! I can't believe we've never been to this! The morning started out with a parade.
| Front row seats for the parade! |
| She loved it! |
| Callum was fast asleep through the whole thing. |
| Throwing acorns. |
After the parade we wandered around the 175+ vendors around the downtown square. I scored an awesome Texas shirt, two super cool Star Wars posters, and some tasty food. There was also a cute little Bethlehem where Rylee got to pet a donkey.
| Found this fun mural with bats, a jack-elope, and an armadillo |
| Eating lunch. This child ate a slice of pizza and a whole hot dog. |
| Boy-o soaking up some rays |

| Grammy and Callum |
We got the kids dressed up in their Christmas outfits for a church Christmas party. They were not really cooperating for a photo shoot. Callum was hungry and kept putting his hands in his mouth. Rylee was being goofy and kept kicking her feet around and wouldn't take off the necklace we got at the Christmas Stroll(it's her "amulet" like Princess Sofia has).
He was not impressed with his Santa outfit, hat, and the tree.
We had a wonderful Saturday and are looking forward to Santa coming in a couple weeks!
