Happy 3rd Birthday Rylee

Somebody is three years old today!!!

Real life guys, she's lucky I even made a cake!
It had everything she requested, pink and purple frosting,
sprinkles, Sofia, and I even tossed in some marshmallows.

So here's a blog post all about Rylee and the past year.

A Little About Rylee: She loves spinning in circles, blowing raspberries at her brother, reading books, playing outside, anything tiny or little ("Oh look! It's a tiny baby rock!" etc), and eating ice cream.

She has a wonderful imagination and is always hard at play, acting out stories and having adventures. She still loves to be snuggled, and has a hard time sleeping through the night.

She can sing her ABCs, count to 10, stand on one foot, hop, skip, and twirl. She loves dancing and having dance parties.

She tries to sneak marshmallows and sprinkles from the pantry on a regular basis, and is a bit of a clutter queen(must be a hereditary thing?). She loves her friends and they're all her "best friend." She adores her gizzilion aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.

The last couple months have been full of changes(a new baby, baby being sick and in the hospital, me going back to work after being off for weeks, Ryan being gone for a month, moving to Austin and a new house) and she's adapted beautifully.

She decided it was time to pottytrain the Sunday before we moved! It would've been easier to have told her we had to wait till we were done moving, but I wasn't sure when the next chance would come up, so we went for it! And she did amazing! We went and bought Star Wars "panties" today. They're actually boy briefs, but the kid was dead set on getting Darth Vader and Chewbacca panties. Unfortunately, Princess Leia was not included in the pack.

She is the sweetest big sister and is always looking out for baby brother.

She is also a total goofball:

My cousin Haley made her her own colorguard flag!

She loves sleeping in my shirts, just like I did at her age
with my dad's shirts.

She picked the outfit

The sheet over her head is her "wedding dress." She's getting "married" to Ryan.

Rylee gave Callum her "wedding dress." He's now a princess.

She is sweet, loving, funny, audacious, and amazing. Everyday, I strive to become more loving, patient, and kind for my daughter. I have a lot to work on, but I think I'm getting there and that we're raising a pretty spectacular person.

Happy third birthday, sweet girl. We're so glad to have you in our lives.
