Florida/Lanham Family Reunion

We had such a great trip to Florida! We left Wednesday evening after Ryan got off work and drove all the way to Pennsacola, stopping at about 3am to camp. It was very hot and muggy, and it poured rain around 4am. Rylee was wide awake and never went to sleep in the tent! We gave up on sleep at about 5:30, packed up our wet tent, and got back on the road.

At a rest stop somewhere in Florida.

Ryan and I functioning on very little sleep. Rylee of course
fell back asleep in the car.

We got to my parents' house outside Orlando Thursday afternoon, and Ryan and I immediately took a nap, while Rylee played with her cousin and aunties. It's so nice to have so many extra hands to help!

Friday morning we headed to the Villages for our Lanham Family Reunion. A lot of my family had never met Ryan and Rylee, so it was really nice to see everyone! The Villages is a retirement community, and everyone drives golfcarts. My dad of course had to rent one so we could explore all the crazy golf cart paths and tunnels.

Grandpa and Rylee!

Belle took this picture. Not too bad for a five year old!

Goofy faces

Hanging on the golf carts shooting Uncle Mike's potato gun.

Rylee loved all the dancing.

My cousin Alex.

It ended all too soon and was time to head back to Orlando on Sunday.  Our last day of vacation was Monday, and we spent it at the beach with my sisters and niece, which was an awesome way to end a great trip.

This girl adores her aunts.

 Rylee loved the boogie board!

Sister baby bumps! These cousins are due two weeks apart.

I love these two girls. They had so much fun together!

Vacation ended all too soon. We left my family's Monday evening(but stole my little sister Delaney!) and stopped around midnight in Tallahasse. Tuesday was a long day of driving, but made much better by having Delaney with us to hang out with Rylee. Until next time Florida!
