Rodeo Parade and Zoo

The Houston Rodeo kicked off on Saturday with a parade! We were late so we missed the bands and floats, but caught lots of wagons and horses. We also stayed and listened to the marching bands that were playing in the park.

Stopped to swing!

Realizing it was the first weekend of the month, we used our Bank of America cards for free zoo admission again! Last time we went, Rylee had a cold and wasn't walking yet. This time, she was happy and walking around everywhere! 

It was really cute to see her explore everything with her new found skill.

We also ate yummy spicy Vietnamese sandwiches for $2.50 each at a little place in midtown for lunch. Rylee does not like spicy, poor kid!

After the zoo, Rylee crashed fast asleep! We went to Trader Joe's to stock up on food(and chocolate). We came home, ate Trader Joe's frozen Indian food and naan for dinner, and then watched "The Way, Way Back" with Steve Carrel, which is a great movie!
